Supervising Elder-Divine Mercy Apostolate

Sis. Ludovina Ramon Balicanot
Sis. Dina is from Batch 20 that graduated in 1998. She works in a multilateral development financial institution based in Manila. She is guided by the principles of excellence, that the quality of the work of a person is a reflection of how he or she values God and him/herself. Thus, she always gives her best, in big or small tasks, and makes sure she exceeds all expectations. “Excellence is not a skill, it is an attitude of boldness of bringing forth whatever is workable. Finding your purpose and using your God-given gifts towards it. God’s power is within you. His greatness and beauty are revealed for every little thing we achieve for his Glory with a grateful heart,” she further says. In all this, she’s anchored on the message of Phils. 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Sis. Jennifer Banzon Santos
Sis. Jenny, Jen, Khongguan (after a popular biscuits) or KEIGI started in the community in 2000. She is an accounting manager at a call-center firm in Ortigas Center. A loyal servant of the Lord, she is inspired by John Henry Newman’s writing - "God has created me, to do Him some definite service; He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission-- I may never know it in this life, but I shall tell it in the next. I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. He has not created me for nothing. Therefore, I will trust Him. Whatever, wherever I am, I cannot be thrown away."

SERVANT LEADERS:

Sis. Liza Parayno Guinto
Sis. Liza has been with the community since 1998. She is currently an export manager in a publicly listed company. Sis. Liza is guided by the foremost commandments “To love God above all and to love thy neighbor.” Also, she is grounded on the golden rule “Don’t do unto others what you don’t want others to do unto you.” As Mat. 18:4 says, “Therefore anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Sis. Jennifer Vicente Palmera
She is called by an unlikely nickname Peng. Sis. Peng is currently a full time member after working 10 years from a local bank in the Philippines, and two years in a furniture company in Vietnam. A member since 1991, she lives a quiet life inspired by Prov. 15:13 , which says “A happy heart makes the face cheerful.” She is living the ups and downs of life on the teaching “A fulfilled life is a life full of love for God and others.”

Sis. Hannelli Jardinico-Oasan
Sis. Honey came from batch 28 that graduated in 2002. She works as a finance executive of a multinational insurance company based in Makati City. She lives by the principle of integrity where you seek responsibility and accept responsibility for your actions. She considers worrying as the most extravagant of all because to her, God always provides, even in

the tiniest detail of life.

She is guided by Phil 4:8 – “Whatever Is True, Whatever Is Noble, Whatever Is Right, Whatever Is Pure, Whatever Is Lovely, Whatever Is Admirable--If Anything Is Excellent Or Praiseworthy—Think About Such Things” and Col. 3:17 - "And Whatever You Do, Whether In Word Or Deed, Do It All In The Name Of The Lord Jesus, Giving Thanks To God The Father Through Him."

 Sis. Milarey Elaco Maquiling-Wee
Sis. Miles, as she is fondly called, has been in the community since 1996. She is currently a Senior Director of a leading accounting firm in Ayala Avenue, Makati City. Sis. Miles strives to live by the principle of “struggling to share my life selflessly and to love, please and do the will of the Father” so that she will hear Him say “Well done my child.” Moreover, she is encouraged by the verse “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.”

Sis. Rosaline Aranton Minas
Sis. Rose is a Batch 4 graduate of CLSS in 1993 and has remained faithful since then. She is the IT manager of a leading appraisal company and business consulting firm in Makati City. Sis. Rose is inspired by the saying “Great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance.” She starts the day with a prayer “Lord, may I glorify You in whatever I do, wherever I am.” She is always reminded of Prov. 3:4-5 – “Trust in the Lord with all your hearts, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Bro. Cristofer Lorenzo Javier
Bro. Cris has fruitful exposure in the renewal having started way back in 4th year high school before he joined the community in June 2004. He worked as an I.T. Staff of Hope Christian High School. Adept with the computer, Bro. Cris is the web administrator of hchs.edu.ph, kreativeconcept.com and friendsofthedivinemercy.org, the community’s website. Bro. Cris finds inspiration in Phil.4:13, which says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
