Who among us is surrendering now? As servants, we're not excused from this, but the more we experience it. We have battles we need to fight with arms (2 Cor. 10:4-5
God will anoint us for battle. Expect the unexpected. While we're here, let's accept the fact that we're in a battle.
Most people will experience trials and tribulations, including Christians. God will be with us. God will not forsake us although we have fallen in the middle of trials.
Once in my life, I almost gave up, but I held on to my dignity. I reached a point when people were seeing me fighting. Deep inside, I felt like I wanted to die. I thought of the shame to my family and community. I prayed simply, "Lord, help me."
Your battle, don't give it to others, it's part of your pattern. As servant leaders, let's try to be strong for our members, people who have trusted in us. The Lord will give us power and strategies. First, accept the fact that there's a battle. Don't choose. God will allow trials but won't allow anything that we can't surmount. Trust in the power of the Holy Spirit and the strategies that He will give us. For as Sir. 2:3-4
Stay where you're planted; die there. Fight the battle. Don't leave. Where you're wounded, find your healing there. Be faithful in attendance. Commitment means attendance. Some of our trials come from our families - spouses, kids. After we win one battle, there will come others more lethal, fiercer. So, expect more and expect the graces of God to be there.
Trials are endless. Soon, you will get used to it. Saints look for it. The anointing of God is simply the power of the Holy Spirit, so we can accomplish God's purpose for us.
God flaunted Job (Job 2
There are battles that we pray to disappear. Satan has no good plans for us. Once God is with us, there are times He takes the front battle for us. But, there are battles we need to fight ourselves. If we don't fight, we will lose. There are times God will ask us to march on.
David fought the giant. God could do that for him, but He wanted David to do it. We will be asked to fight our battles. The saints were not stupid. They talked and argued before they got killed. If all good people will talk, there will be no evil people on earth.
No preacher is a coward (Acts 1:8
1) God's protection. Persist in the mission or battle. The lazier we feel, go and attend the prayer meeting. God's grace is with us.
2) God's strength, courage and boldness. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
3) God's patience, stamina and endurance will last the length of every human trial. Our patience and stamina are limited, but not God's. It's rocket fuel.
4) God's knowledge and wisdom on what to do. We're good at advising, but when we are the ones under attack, we don't know what to do. We need God's wisdom and knowledge.
5) God's knowledge and wisdom on what to say. Don't worry on what to say. God will tell us what to say. If God is with us, who can be against us?
6) God's favor. Let's ask ourselves if we have fully surrendered to God. God's favor is always with us. God can move mightily in us like He did with Daniel.
