CLSE

The Friends of the Divine Mercy added about 70 new members after they completed a Catholic Life in the Spirit Experience (CLSE) seminar on Feb. 18-19, 2012 at Salitao Hall of Christ the King Seminary, Quezon City.

A total of 71 participants took part on the first day, and 76 on the second, all coming from the community's different chapters in Malabon, Caloocan, Pasig, Villamor and Las Pinas, as well as from Single Friends.

The speakers were: Sis. Dina Balicanot (Introduction/Praise & Worship), Bro. Arthur Castor (God's Love), Bro. Lito Dawa (Salvation), Sis. Belle Fabian (New Life), Bro. Rene Tumang (Receiving God's Gifts/Baptism), and Bro. Allan Tigue (Growth/Transformation).

Fr. Ric Torrefeil was the Mass celebrant and also led the commissioning of the graduates who are now full-fledged members of the community. Bro. Bimbo Tecson, who flew in from Cebu, gave a sharing of his new-life experience to the participants.

Sis. Peng Palmera and Sis. Jenny Laquindanum were moderators for Day 1 and 2, respectively; while Sis. Jhelly Austria and Bro. Frank Moultre were joyful leaders.

The CLSE introduces participants to the charismatic renewal movement and enables them to have transformed lives guided by the Spirit.

Friends holds 2nd 'Way of Mercy' in Bulacan

Friends Bacolod gets reminder on 'Cross'

Friends Bacolod held its Treasures fellowship on March 18, 2012 at Parlor Hall of Sacred Heart Seminary, Lupit Church, Bacolod City. About 20 members, led by Sis. Friends@Play, the friendly sports competitions between chapters of the community, resumed on March 11 at Brgy. Villamor courts in Pasay City.Main Chapter and Friends Villamor clashed at the volleyball match, with the former prevailing in two straight sets with 25-21, 26-24.
