A Holy Mass was held, with Fr. Fr. Mike Carreon officiating. Then followed the Treasures, began with joyful song and dance, afterwhich some of the members shared their insights on the celebrations.
The community then held a meeting that included updates on the Divine Mercy on the Block, plans for the rest of the year, improving attendance to community activities, among other things.
Parlor games such as egg relay and "connect-connect" with various tasks of members were also held. The community also presented awards and recognition to deserving members.
About 30 members attended the festivities. Friends Bacolod was established on July 10, 2006, the first chapter of the community outside of Metro Manila. (Rosamie Azuro)
