The Friends of the Divine Mercy conducted a retreat for its workers on May 7, 2011 at the Betania Retreat House in Cubao, Quezon City.
A total of 52 workers composed of elders, chapter head servants and ministry heads from the different chapters attended the one-day activity, which had the theme "My Mission, My Vision is My Vocation" and is aimed at boosting community work.
Fr. Louie Niez discussed the theme, while Bro. Jing Mendoza from the Loved Flock talked on the "Challenges of Lay People in the Mission."
Bro. Rene Tumang, adviser-director of Friends, inspired the workers to do more. Fr. Joseph Alonzo celebrated the Holy Mass, the culminating activity.
