Sis. Dina Balicanot, who heads the community's Divine Mercy Apostolate, the unit in charge of the propagation of the devotion, led other members in the delivery of the image at the lobby of the hospital. Fr. Albert Adison, hospital chaplain, helped receive the image together with some staff, while Dr. Janet del Mundo-Tan, hospital director, also welcomed the community and the image to the medical center.Sis. Dal Lipayon introduced the devotion to the hospital staff, patients and their families after a Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Albert. They were taught the mission of the apostolate, the basics of the devotion and the Divine Mercy chaplet. The image will stay at the hospital for one month.
The Divine Mercy-Corporate Manila is the community's fourth after the ones in Camanava (Caloocan-Malabon-Navotas-Valenzuela area), Philippine National Police headquarters in Crame, Quezon City, and San Juan/Mandaluyong.
The Divine Mercy-Corporate program aims to introduce the Divine Mercy devotion to offices and institutions, complementing the Divine Mercy on the Block, which targets households in different communities in the Philippines and abroad.
